Grass Busters Inc. was founded in 1997 by Eric Schultz, current owner and CEO of Elite Midwest Landscaping.  At the time, Eric operated out of a home and garage located in Naperville, Illinois. Residential maintenance and lawn renovation were the primary services offered by he and his brother, Marc Schultz. In 2003, Grass Busters Inc. changed there name to Elite Midwest Landscaping Inc., DBA Elite Plowing. At this time, Elite moved into its new location in Aurora, IL. In the  spring of 2004, Elite acquired Hughes Landscaping Inc. With this brought new employees, equipment and the knowledge of a professional brick paving company. Substantial growth forced Elite to move its headquarters to a larger location in Naperville, IL, in the spring of 2005.

Due to committed service and loyal customers, Elite Midwest Landscaping developed a solid community of customers in the Naperville, Aurora, and Lisle area. Elite acquired its second company Advantage landscaping in the spring of 2007.

Elite continues to be family operated company, dedicated to serving the area with the best in landscaping, snow and ice management.
